Learning Community Meeting

2000 Learning Community Meeting
This year's meeting was held on

October 18-21, 2000
at
The Westin Grand Hotel, 2350 M Street NW
Washington, D.C.

Annually, key leadership teams representing the 27 Building Bridges projects assemble for a Learning Community Meeting.  The purposes for the meetings are to promote learning and communication among the projects, provide learning opportunities for participants, and increase participants’ leadership capacity by increasing their understanding of the Third Sector and its relationship to higher education.

By providing this opportunity for scholars and practitioners to work together, the W.K.Kellogg Foundation seeks to contribute to the development of nonprofit management education. Participants have opportunities to both learn and teach; to enrich their knowledge through experience; to compare, question, and challenge assumptions; and, finally, to build relationships with others in the Initiative.
