US Bureau of Land Management - Friends of the
Agua Fria National Monument

CenterPoint Institute supplied services and support to the Arizona State University (ASU) Center for Nonprofit Leadership and Management’s (CNLM) grant project with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to plan and implement steps to establish a nonprofit organization, “Friends of the Agua Fria National Monument.” The 71,000-acre Agua Fria National Monument is located approximately 40 miles north of central Phoenix.

CenterPoint guided the development and adoption of by-laws, election of a governing board, preparation and submission of legal documents, and coordination of volunteer services, fund raising, and advocacy activities in support of resource protection and public education pertaining to the Agua Fria National Monument.
