Texas
Director of Interoffice Communication and
Official Greeter

Texas is CenterPoint’s youngest, shortest, and furriest member. The 1½ year old Chocolate Lab’s areas of expertise include interoffice mail and memo delivery, office security patrols, boisterous door greetings, post-lunch clean-up missions, and under-desk dreaming. Outside the office, Texas enjoys playing with Frisbees, jogs, and chasing his best friend and little brother Doc (a cat!).

At the “suggestion” of his mother and CenterPoint Project Manager Jessica, Texas chose a course of study at the local 4-H Club that included obedience skills such as sit, stay, down, come, and fetch. Texas prides himself at identifying these simple commands that are often hidden in long, complex sentences. Texas plans to continue his obedience training and is considering pursuing volunteer work as a therapy dog at local hospitals.
